Shady Nook is just the property to accommodate large groups, families, businesses, church events, reunions, weddings while still having enough room to for guests to have some private space for a little downtime. It also is spread out enough to have activities in one corner not interrupt people who may need to head to bed early.

Nestled on the shores of Pickerel Lake, come stay and play on the beach. Two waterfront acres allow you to play volleyball in the yard, take the kayaks out on the lake, do a little fishing from the dock or sun yourself by the water. If you are visiting in winter, build a fire by the lake then get out the ice skates for some ice hockey or your auger for a little ice fishing.

MAIN FLOOR

FALCON HEIGHTS
Master Suite with 1 KING Bed. FULL Private BATHROOM inside the Bedroom. This room is quite LARGE and you could easily have other air mattresses or portable crib etc.

THE PARLOR
Master Suite (closest to garage and main entrance) with 1 QUEEN Bed, plus a Day Bed that has 2 TWIN Mattresses (pull-out). Bed sheets are in the closet. This room has a FULL private BATHROOM inside the bedroom.

RED WING
Regular Bedroom with 2 TWIN Beds. The Bedroom with best views of the lake.

GARAGE

GARAGE LOFT OVER GARAGE
2 BEDROOMS + 1/2 BATH. This area is separate from House – kitchen and Living area

1 KING Bed and 2 TWIN beds

LINCOLN BEDROOM
1 KING Bed and 2 TWIN beds.

EMERALD
Master Suite (Left Side) – 1 KING Bed, plus a Day Bed that has 1 Full Mattress (TOP) and 1 TWIN Mattress (BOTTOM) This room has a FULL Private BATHROOM inside bedroom.

STILLWATER
Master Suite (Right Side) 1 QUEEN Bed, 1 FULL Bed and 1 FULL-SIZE futon couch. This room has a full private BATHROOM inside the bedroom. This is a very large room. The FULL mattress from the futon could be put that on the floor. There is additional room for air mattress or portable crib.

CACKLEBERRY
Regular Bedroom (Left Side) with 1 QUEEN Bed, 2 TWIN Mattress bunk bed), Top Bunk Bed sheets are in the closet.

PICKEREL SKYCLUB
Regular Bedroom (Right Side) with 2 FULL-SIZE beds, 2 TWIN size blow-up mattresses (in the closet of this bedroom and are meant to put them on top of the LOFT in the room for sleeping options.) This room is also large and you could easily get another air mattress.

BASEMENT

1 Queen size PULL OUT COUCH and 1 Large SECTIONAL COUCH. The Basement has a FULL BATHROOM that could be exclusive for anyone sleeping in this area. There also is room in the Basement for additional air mattresses.

What to Expect During Your Stay

For your stay at Shady Nook the following items are provided:

Bathroom towels, washcloths, and hand towels. They will be found in the main floor bathroom (off the kitchen) for people to take to whatever bathroom they choose.
One full toilet paper roll per bathroom and one roll of paper towels
The kitchen is supplied with kitchen garbage bags, liquid dish soap, dishwasher detergent
Hand soap is by each sink
A Keurig machine (12 cups included)
Two other regular Coffee makers and filters
Spices: salt, pepper, Lawry’s, cinnamon, garlic, steak and other seasonings. Please note, these all stay in-house but are there for you to use.
